01. Our community principles
These guidelines describe the community we want to build. This international website does not currently accept listings, reviews, messages, or user submissions. These principles do not mean those features are already available.
Operational rules and reporting tools will be provided when relevant community features launch.
02. Treat people with respect
Make room for different backgrounds and experiences. Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, and intimidation have no place in the nooks community.
Keep disagreements constructive and respect other people’s boundaries, time, and homes.
03. Be clear and honest
Businesses should describe their products, services, prices, availability, and qualifications accurately. Do not impersonate others, manufacture reviews, or make misleading claims.
Images and content should be yours to share, or shared with the appropriate permission.
04. Protect personal information
Do not publish someone’s private address, phone number, identity documents, or other personal information without their permission. A home business should be able to choose which business contact details it makes public.
Share only the information needed for a genuine interaction. Do not pressure others to disclose private information.
05. Keep business lawful and safe
Providers are responsible for meeting the laws, licensing requirements, product-safety rules, and home-business restrictions that apply where they operate. Do not offer prohibited goods or services, scams, or unsafe activities.
Customers should ask relevant questions about suitability, qualifications, allergens, or service conditions before deciding to transact.
06. Build trust thoughtfully
Being local does not by itself establish that a provider has been verified. A future listing should not be treated as a guarantee unless a specific verification process is clearly explained.
Agree on scope, price, and arrangements clearly. Respect a provider’s right to decline work and a customer’s right to make an informed choice.
07. Concerns and future enforcement
